• Can kids start Robotics at young ages?

Yes.

Young kids can learn Robotics through hands-on activities, block coding, and plenty of exploration.

To them, starting Robotics fosters an early interest in multiple fields of science and potentially leads to advanced learning in their future.

• Can kids learn Robotics without robotic toys?

Absolutely.

It's not fairly affordable or necessary to learn Robotics through toys.

With well-planned curricula and age-appropriate teaching, kids can learn Robotics from materials commonly used in academia and industry, and then transfer their knowledge to future studies or careers.

Plus, parents can buy those relatively cheaper materials after our projects for kids to review lessons or create robots.

• Do you take students to Robotics competitions?

We're afraid training students to win the prizes is not our philosophy.

Robotics competitions do help students' learning in some aspects. But we want students to find their learning paces and interests, and be creative in Robotics. By contrast, we do not hope students learn Robotics under the pressure of winning.

Although we don't take students to the competitions, we can customise projects for you if you need professional guidance on it.

• What do students and parents receive from your projects?

Students

- Tools: Sufficient tools provided. Students don't need to prepare or share tools.
- Responsive guidance: They can get more individual guidance in small classes.
- Worksheets: We design worksheets for students to review their lessons.

Parents (* When you book more than 5 lessons)

- Learning journals: We document students' growth and give the learning journals to you by the end of each project.
- Individual parent-teacher meetings: We discuss students' growth with you through in-person or online meetings.

• Which project suits me most?

Generally, students aged 6 to 12 can do our BBC micro:bit projects. The Creative Programming I suits younger students and beginners.

For students 12 and above, our Arduino projects may be good choices for you. Every Arduino project has distinct features, so you may want to read the description and find the one you're interested in!

Scheduling

• How do I schedule my lessons?

Pre-planned projects

We'll check the time and day together, and book all the slots of the lessons for you before starting.

Your lesson will occur at the same time and day every week, for example, at 4 pm every Tuesday.

Customised Projects

We can schedule all the lessons before starting based on our available slots.

Alternatively, we'll give you an online booking page, and you can schedule your lesson 48 hours before it starts.

Please note that for group lessons, all members need to agree on the schedule before booking.

• Can I re-shedule my lessons?

Pre-planned projects

Because these are pre-planned group lessons, we're afraid you cannot reschedule. In case of emergency, please let us know at least 2 hours before your lesson, and we'll record the lesson for you.

Students who miss lessons can come to 28x, watch the video, and use our tools to do their lessons.

Customised Projects

Please let us know at least 4 hours before your lesson. You can reschedule a lesson if you book a project of 5 lessons. The lesson will be postponed to the next scheduled time.

For group lessons, please note that you should inform all group members and get their agreement on the rescheduling.

Payment

• Do you offer a discount?

Yes.

We offer a discount for our current students. New students who book during our registration period (dates) can also get a discount.

Plus, we sometimes have special offers for all. Please follow our website or social media to get the latest offers.

• How do I make the payment?

You can pay at our store or online.

Our store

We make payments through cash or a card. Please call us or book an appointment before you come so we can be available for you.

Online

You can make a payment through IRIS. We have Piraeus Bank and Eurobank to choose from.

• Can I claim a refund?

We're afraid there's no refund.

For retailers, customers can claim refunds within 14 days of purchase. However, we offer service instead of physical products, and due to the differences, we cannot issue refunds.

Before you book a project, we'll discuss your learning needs and see which projects suit you. You can book the projects after you fully consider the details.
